2019 elections; Okagbare urge voters to shun Vote Buying and PVC trading

Also in her remarks, Mrs Okagbare enjoined members of the public to shun Vote Buying and PVC trading which according to her ''shall only serve to truncate our hard earned democracy".

A Diaspora advocacy group under the aegis of Atiku Diaspora Network (ADN) on Wednesday 18th July, 2018 organised welcome reception in honour of their Founder and Global Coordinator Mrs Grace Okagbare who arrived Nigeria from its Global Headquarters in Norway.

In her keynote address, while also coronating some key officers of the group assigned to Nigeria; Mrs. Grace Okagbare expressed her gratitude to her team, and other well meaning Nigerians who had come to attend the event held in Jabi Abuja.

Also in her remarks, Mrs Okagbare enjoined members of the public to shun Vote Buying and PVC trading which according to her ”shall only serve to truncate our hard earned democracy”.

She called on Nigerians to ignore rumors and unsubstantiated allegations against opposition politicians; challenging Nigerians to ask those who live abroad, those who are in a proper place to know if indeed a seasoned leader like Atiku Abubakar is a fugitive of the law of the United States over corruption charges.

According to her, “I challenge any Nigerian who still peddles such malicious rumor to step forward. We are here from the Diaspora. We have members spread across every state in the USA. So, come out and tell us in which of these states, and under what court jurisdiction has Atiku Abubakar been charged or indicted of any crime?

“I stand here representing Nigerians in Europe and America and we challenge you to come out and prove this to us. Or, do you know more than we do? She asked.

The diaspora group further enjoined Nigerians to come out enmass, and to obtain their PVCs without further delay!

The diaspora group said their leaders shall spend a few weeks traversing political constituencies across Nigeria, sensitizing citizens, and lobbying PDP delegates in favor of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, a PDP 2019 Presidential aspirant.
