Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, the governors of Ekiti (Kayode Fayemi) and Zamfara (Abdulaziz Yari) states, has just ended an evening meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
An evening meeting between Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, the governors of Ekiti (Kayode Fayemi) and Zamfara (Abdulaziz Yari) states, has just ended at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The two governors came to the State House at about 5.40pm and departed at about 6.30pm.
No official position was given on why the governors met with Osinbajo.
Neither Fayemi nor Yari responded to inquiries from State House correspondents.
They left without uttering a word soon after the closed-door meeting ended.
Meanwhile, the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal on Thursday affirmed Kayode’s victory in the July 14, 2018 governorship election in Ekiti State.
The three-man panel, led by Justice Stephen Adah, in a unanimous judgment, dismissed the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate in the election, Mr. Olusola Eleka.
