The Family of Emayomi in Oria, Abraka, in Ethiope East Local Government area of Delta State has announce the funeral rites of their Patriarch, Late Chief Jonathan

Chief J.A.S Emayomi who died on the 13th of August will begin his journey home on Wednesday 16th October, 2019, with a funeral mass that will kick off by 4pm at St Martins Catholic Church, Gana Sapele, Delta State

On Friday 18th October, 2019, there will be another mass for the body by 10am, this time at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oria Abraka. While Interment follows immediately at Chief J.A.S Emayomi’s home, Odumere street, Oria Abraka followed by
Reception and In-law greetings at Umiaghwa Primary School, Oria Abraka.

According to Henry Emayomi, the funeral rites will be rounded up On Sunday 20th October 2019
at 8.30am, with a Thanksgiving Mass at St Martins Catholic Church, Gana Sapele.

Chief Emayomi is survived by 8 children including Dr Francis Emayomi, Henry Emayomi and others.

Meanwhile Mrs Catherine Obiora, Chief Emayomi’s third daughter has described her father as a man who lived life to the fullest. The chartered accountant while paying tribute also thanked him for the education he gave her
“I thank you also for encouraging me to face challenges with a brave heart and a firm faith.
If I were to come to this world a second time, you would be my Dad and I will be your daughter” she then added “you lived your life to the fullest”

Also speaking, Donald Emayomi, Papa’s first son said if he would write to describe how awesome his Dad was, he will go on till dawn to describe his attributes remembering he once sold a piece of land to pay his hospital bills “He throws luxury away to provide the best education for his children and wards. He assumes inconveniences so that others might enjoy one benefit or the other. He is a man who gives to people but who never depended on anyone ”

For Francis Emayomi, Papa was a dedicated father, a disciplinarian, and a classy man. He said Papa taught him how to knot a tie and his dressing was always spot on, adding he was the proverbial gentleman.

For Henry Emayomi,his father was a teacher, and humble achiever who took delight in leading his children and family to greater heights. ,”With his transition to glory, may his offspring and entire family reign in generational blessing” Henry concluded.
